The fight between F16 and Saenchai Sor Kingstar appears to finally be going ahead at Lumpini Stadum next month. It had originally been scheduled to take place last year but was cancelled after F16s camp struggled to come up with the sidebet.
Is is now happening at a Petpiya Promotions show on February 3rd with bosh sides agreeing to stump up a one million Baht side bet. Saenchai is coming off what by his own incredibly high standards was a slightly disappointing 2011 as he was beaten not once but twice by Saketdao.
F16 had a breakthrough year, beating Kongsak in their rematch and also overcoming Nong O but he finished on a low as Singdam smashed him with body kicks which caused his corner to call off the fight at the end of round three due to a suspected broken arm.
Both will be looking to bounce back from their recent losses but, even though there are suspicions he might finally be starting to slow down, Saenchai will still be a strong favourite. To compensate the promoters are giving F16 a 4 lbs advantage
Also on the card is a fight between Nong O and Singdam. Nong O arrested his lengthy losing streak by winning the Toyotoa Vigo Marathon in August and also stopepd Sittisak Petphayathai before dropping a decision to Nong O whereas Singdam is coming off his stoppage win over F16.
