Yokkao Muay Thai Superstar Manachai Fights for WBC World Title in October

Manachai will compete for WBC gold at Yokkao 34

On October 29th in Hong Kong at Yokkao 34 international muay thai superstar Manachai will be challenging for a WBC world title. Manachai will be squaring off against Brazilian muay thai expert Julio Lobo for the WBC Muay Thai World Welterweight title. The WBC muay thai titles are some of the most significant around, with this title’s lineage dating back to 2006 and being held by such stars as Fabio Pinca and Liam Harrison.

The title, currently vacant, will be on the line to crown a new champion and many believe that Manachai will take the belt home to Team Yokkao.

Yokkao 33 and 34 take place in Hong Kong on October 29th, with the promotion working with the WBC to integrate the championships into their shows and bring the prestige of the WBC titles into the Yokkao mix, as opposed to Yokkao creating their own world titles. We’ll have updates on the fight cards for both shows in the near future, but for now we know that it’ll feature Manachai vs. Julio Lobo as well as Yokkao fighters  Singdam, Spencer Brown and Iquezang as well.
