There is a LOT of muay thai that happens in Thailand, but there are very few fighters that make a huge splash on the scene there at a time. Right now Manachai, who trains with Yokkao at the Yokkao Training Center in Bangkok, is one of those fighters. On March 24th he headlined a Channel 3 event at Siam Boxing Stadium against Attached Tor Morsi where Manachai just tore through the Lumpini Stadium regular with some sick leg kicks in round one. This brings his winning streak up to nine.
His next appearances in the ring will be in Europe, Italy and the UK to be precises, but it’s clear that he is gaining a following in Thailand as well. e returns to Italy on on 8th April to face Christian Zahe, then headline YOKKAO Next Generation Southampton on 29th April with rising star Mo Abdurahman.
