Yokkao Muay Thai Superstar Manachai Fights for WBC World Title in October

On October 29th in Hong Kong at Yokkao 34 international muay thai superstar Manachai will be challenging for a WBC world title. Manachai will be squaring off against Brazilian muay thai expert Julio Lobo for the WBC Muay Thai World Welterweight title. The WBC muay thai titles are some of the most significant around, with this title’s lineage dating back to 2006 and being held by such stars as Fabio Pinca and Liam Harrison. Lion Fight Talent Appearing on Siam Warriors on October 13th

American muay thai promotion Lion Fight continues to search for new ways to promote muay thai and their brand outside of just running their own shows in the United States. Coming up on October 13th is Siam Warriors in Cork, Ireland, alongside the ISKA and Muay Thai Grand Prix. ONE SuperSeries Bouts for Reign of Kings: Armen Petrosyan vs. Chris Ngimbi

On July 27th ONE Championship heads to Manilla for Reign of Kings, featuring ONE SuperSeries bouts in kickboxing and muay thai. The big, feature bout is between Armen Petrosyan and Chris Ngimbi. Armen’s brother, Giorgio, has defeated Ngimbi in the past, making this an interesting, familial bout and another chance for Ngimbi to prove himself. Ngimbi is the former It’s Showtime 70kg champion and was, at a time, one of the best in the world at 70kg. Lerdsilla Picks Up a Hard-Fought Decision Victory at ONE Championship Pinnacle of Power

ONE Championship headed to Macau for ONE Pinnacle of Power today, featuring a ring over a cage for the action, which made the showdown between Lerdsilla and Sok Thy’s fight all-the-more exciting. There were four ONE SuperSeries bouts featured on this card, all of which were held under traditional muay thai rules inside of the ring outside of the one kickboxing bout. Four bouts was, indeed, an increase and the action went fast throughout the night.
