Tonight at Foxwoods Resort and Casino Lion Fight returned for Lion Fight 38, featuring a night of high-octane muay thai action, including a Welterweight Championship bout in the main event, where Regian Eersel avenged his first career loss against Matous Kohut to walk away with the Lion Fight Welterweight gold firmly around his waist.

Main Event – Welterweight Title Fight – Regian Eersel (47-4) scored a fifth round KO against Matous Kohout (36-10) at 1:01.

Co-Main Event – Light Heavyweight Fight – Elijah Clark (7-1) outlasted Juan Jackson (9-2) to win by unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 49-46)

Cruiserweight Fight – Brett Hlavacek (18-5) defeated Timothy Woods (8-2) by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45).

Super Lightweight Fight – Jafar Toshev (2-0) knocked out Jonathan George (2-3) with a jumping head-kick at 1:47 in round one.

Super Cruiserweight Fight – Steve Walker (2-0) landed a knockout punch to defeat  Robert Morrow (0-1) at 2:49 in round three.

Super Middleweight Fight – Cris Mims (1-0) knocked out Brian Bogue (0-1) with a spinning elbow at 0:25 in round two.
