Bellator Kickboxing returned to the world with Bellator Kickboxing 9 where Raymond Daniels defended his Bellator Welterweight Championship against Djibril Ehouo via decision after an exciting fight. Alexey Ignashov made his return to the ring yet again against a pretty stiff test in Dzevad Poturak and was able to pick up a tight split decision after three rounds.

John Wayne Parr didn’t have a great night, losing to Eder Lopes via decision in a fight that he and fans saw as a robbery, considering JWP is a living legend and tends to put his all into his fights. Jorina Baars scored the sole knockout of the night in the second round with a TKO over Athina Evmorfiadi.
