ONE Kickboxing and Muay Thai Bouts Announced For Two May Events

As we heard a while ago, ONE Championship is moving into the realm of professional kickboxing and muay thai. The first two foray will be on April 20th, featuring Petrosyan vs. Nattawut and more, with back-to-back events announced in May featuring a few big bouts. The first event is May 12th in Jakarta which features a kickboxing bout and a muay thai bout. Watch Yokkao’s Manachai in His Latest Fight From Italy, Plus Details on Next Fight

Yokkao has always been about pushing the sport of muay thai further and growing the sport, be it through their super-popular gear, their live events or their fight team. Their latest crown jewel is the young Thai fighter Manachai. Manachai has been on a roll of late and that roll continued yesterday in Italy where he fought Christian Zahe. Steven Wright Does It Again With the 2017 Year in Kickfighting Video

Every year our good pal, kickboxing enthusiast and coach to the stars (now also talent ops!) Steven Wright puts together what he calls the Year in Kickfighting video. His video takes a look at all of the biggest, coolest and most noteworthy moments of each year and breaks them down in beautiful fashion. Training out of the Yokkao Training Center in Bangkok, Manachai has helped to bring himself to the next level when it comes to catching the attention of the world. He had wowed muay thai fans when he was fighting in the Thai stadiums and racking up titles, but now he ventures out into the world, including this fight at the Night of Kick and Punch in Italy on January 20th where he finished off his opponent, Nuriel Glorian Cauli, in round one. Thai Sensation Manachai YOKKAOSaenchaiGym Making Italian Debut on January 20th

Back in 2016 Yokkao had a huge coup when top-ranked Lumpinee -65kg fighter Manachai jumped from Kiatmoo9 to the Yokkao team, now known as Manachai YokkaoSaenchaiGym. Training at the Yokkao Training Center Bangkok he has worked with not just Yokkao’s state-of-the-art facility, some of the top trainers in the game and more, but he’s also working with nutritionists, physical trainers, physical therapists and even a media agency to help spread the word about the 20-year-old fighter. Lion Fight Adds Five Bouts to Lion Fight 40 Card

Lion Fight has continued to expound upon their upcoming Lion Fight 40 event, which takes place on  Saturday, February 3rd at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Previously announced were the three big title fights and now they’ve added a host of new fights to the card, helping to stack it properly as Lion Fight is prone to doing. Triumphant Muay Thai Heads to UFC Fight Pass

UFC Fight Pass has been adding to its combat sports library since its inception, to be a destination not just for UFC content, but for all combat sports as well. It’s been a slow process, with most of it being MMA or grappling, but the addition of GLORY kickboxing’s SuperFight Series has been a positive one, with some of GLORY’s best fights being given the honors of airing on UFC Fight Pass. Tomorrow Muay Thai Grand Prix and Lion Fight make their first joint venture into the realm of promoting with MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39. The event, which airs on BoxNation in the UK and FloSports worldwide, is set to be a clash of international muay thai styles with an exciting, title-fight-laden card. MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39 Hype: Abasolo vs. Pinto

On November 18th MTGP in the UK welcomes Lion Fight abroad with Lion Fight’s first international outing with MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39. The card is stacked full of international showdowns, with enough titles on the line to drive record-keepers crazy. On Saturday, November 18th Lion Fight Promotions, along with Muay Thai Grand Prix in the UK, will promote MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39, a blockbuster, international clash of two renowned muay thai promotions. The card is filling out, lined with five big title fights with a whopping six titles on the line.
