Giorgio Petrosyan Scores 100th Career Victory Over Chris Ngimbi

This past weekend at a Giorgio Petrosyan-promoted event, Petrosyanmania, Giorgio Petrosyan scored his 100th professional career win over former It’s Showtime Lightweight Champion Chris Ngimbi. Ngimbi had initially announced his shocking retirement in 2012, only to rescind on that where he’s continued to compete on the fringes of the top of the 70kg heap. Needless to say, Giorgio Petrosyan was perhaps too strong of a challenge for him at this point, although he put forth a valiant effort. The match, which was a rematch from 2008 where Petrosyan defeated Ngimbi, saw Petrosyan once again have his hand raised.
