GLORY 5

We already knew that GLORY 17 would go down in New York City, but were still without a solid date for it. Now, thanks to the Fight Network, we know that GLORY 17 will take place on June 21st.

But wait, there's more! They also have scheduled dates and places up for GLORY 18 and GLORY 19 as well, giving us a brief glimpse into the future for the next few months. GLORY 18 is July 19th from London, England and GLORY 19 is August 16th from San Jose, California. Both London and Northern California are tremendous ideas for Kickboxing events, with both housing strong Kickboxing communities and lots of potential fans in the area.

Stay tuned for more on upcoming GLORY events. Remember that these are not official by any means.

Spong

Next weekend at GLORY 15 Tyrone Spong will take on Saulo Cavalari and potentially move on to another fight to vie for the GLORY Light Heavyweight Championship. Spong has had a storied career up until this point and while there won't be a new episode of King of the Ring for a while still (we confirmed this with Tyrone earlier this week), that doesn't mean that there will be a lack of awesome Tyrone Spong content. The Blackzillians had someone put together this awesome highlight package on Tyrone Spong. What makes it even better? Look at the name in the beginning, it's a StillWill Presentation, which just makes me super happy.

So check this out.

Munson

This is always the worst kind of news to have to post, especially for a younger fighter just trying to make his mark on the sport. Roufusport fighter Dennis Munson was participating in a fight in Milwaukee for the promotion Knockout Kings where bystanders claimed to have seen him acting strangely in the third round, only to collapse after the final bell rang. Munson was rushed to an area hospital where he clung to life for a few hours before passing away. This is obviously a terrible turn of events for the Kickboxing community as a whole, as well as Munson's friends, family and teammates.

We here at LiverKick express our deepest condolences and urge you to help the Roufusport team in collecting donations for his family to help cover funeral costs during this very tough time. You can find information about donating here.

LEGEND

LEGEND 3 is coming up -- fast -- in Milan, Italy. If we've seen anything from LEGEND in the past few events, it is that they go big absolutely every time. This time around they've partnered with our friend in Italy, Carlo di Blasi, and his Oktagon promotion to ensure that everything for the event is top notch. The card itself is definitely drool-inducing for the discerning Kickboxing fan, then there is that bonkers promo video that they released. I don't even know, but it's really incredible, like nothing we've ever seen done to promote a fight card before.
