Extreme Promotions will host the fourth installment of their Muay Thai Mania series in Riswijk, Netherlands on October 23. They've gathered some staple fighters of the Dutch scene together for the show, and as it stands right now, the card is looking pretty good. Extreme Promotions is looking to make a name for themselves and this is a good way to do it. The Dutch scene has always been strong and lately it actually seems to be getting even stronger, with more and more good fighters popping up.

Headlining the card is a clash of heavyweights, as Mourad Bouzidi and Ismael Londt. Londt has been tearing it up lately, as you can probably tell by our recent posts. Just yesterday he won a decision over Raemon Welboeren in Suriname. This might just be Londt's biggest fight. Bouzidi is probably hovering around top 20 status in the division. One of the reasons why I say this might be Londt's biggest fight is that it's at home in the Netherlands. All of Londt's big wins, against Lascenko, Hron, Ciobanu and Brestovac have come outside of the Netherlands. Now he'll have a chance to showcase just why many are hailing him as the next big thing infront of a home crowd.

Bouzidi is a rather inconsistent fighter, currently on a two fight losing streak with the losses being to Brice Guidon and Errol Zimmerman. Bouzidi does have some good wins over Errol Zimmerman, Anderson Silva twice, Henriques Zowa and Hesdy Gerges but he can't seem to get on a lengthy winning streak. Bouzidi's recent losses have showcased one of his glaring weaknesses, his chin. Now don't get me wrong, Errol Zimmerman and Brice Guidon are hard hitters but the fact is Bouzidi gets hurt often from glancing blows. This is why I definitely favor Londt in the fight. Londt has big power and it'll probably only take a glancing blow to put Bouzidi down.

Also on the card, there's some good action between many fighters on the Dutch scene. Leroy Kaestner fights three weeks after he takes on Maxim Smirnov in Russia against Mohammed Aouragh. Aouragh beat Ajay Balgobind a few months ago and is a strong Dutch scene fighter but Kaestner shouldn't have too much trouble. Kaestner has much more experience against better competition while he's probably the best fighter Aouragh has faced.

Among other match-ups on the card are heavyweights Fikri Ameziane vs. Ricardo van den Bos. Hicham Achalhi, fresh off two wins in the Tatneft Cup will take on Nathan van't Hoft. Recent It's Showitme fighter Errol Konning takes on Darryl Sichtmann and recent SLAMM!! fighter Antoine Mandela takes on Halim Haryouli.
