The MuayThai Premier League has had a busy last few weeks, making many announcements. Now, just under a month away from their inaugural event on September 2, they've announced the full card - and it's a great one.
We'll start with the non-league bouts first. Buakaw Por. Pramuk takes on Warren Stevelmans for the WMC title at 154lbs/69.9kg. Buakaw has already fought three times this year, winning them all and he has another fight on August 7 in Japan for Thai Fight Extreme. Stevelmans is coming off of two straight wins over Mohammed Medhar and Zeben Diaz. Also at 154lbs/69.9kg, Baxter Humby takes on Zidov Dominick for the WMC Intercontinental Title at the weight.
In the league portion, the middleweight (160lbs/72.5kg) division gets kicked off with Yodsaenklai Fairtex taking on Yohan Lidon in a rematch of their fight in 2008, which Lidon lost by TKO in the second round. Marco Pique and Nieky Holzken will also battle it in the middleweight league portion. Some great fights for the first event.
Other league bouts include Artem Levin vs. Roberto Cocco at Light Heavyweight (182lbs/82.5kg), Nathan Corbett vs. Tomas Hron at Heavyweight (210lbs/95kg).
