As previously announced, GLORY 9 NYC takes place on June 22 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City with GLORY's eight man, one night tournament in the light heavyweight division of -95kg/209lbs. Today more details of the event were announced, including some tournament participants:

"Slated for action in the single-elimination tournament, thus far, are hard-hitting KO artist Brian Collette (19-1, 16 KOs) of Norfolk, Va.; four-time world champion Danyo Ilunga (51-4, 41 KOs) of Germany; Muay Thai sensation Filip Verlinden (40-9-1, 16 KOs) of Belgium; and Peter Aerts-protégé Mourad “The Silent Power” Bouzidi (75-20-2, 34 KOs) of Tunisia.  The remainder of the tournament competitors will be announced soon as will several featured Superfight matchups and a preliminary bout card."

A small promotional banner for the event also got out via the official event page on the Hammerstein Ballroom's website, and it displays the likes of Tyrone Spong, Rico Verhoeven, Errol Zimmerman and Joseph Valtellini among others. 

Tickets are already on sale at Ticketmaster.
