In a way, good for Ewerton Teixeira for finding himself a home in Mixed Martial Arts in Brazil, as Teixeira is a solid fighter and a down-to-earth guy that was on the K-1 circuit for many years without earning a ton of respect. Of course, it is a loss for the Kickboxing world and a wonder that no one has scooped him up yet, as he could legitimatize, at least partially, K-1's Heavyweight division at this point and be a great asset to Glory. Of course, he just might not care about Kickboxing anymore and be happy with Mixed Martial Arts.
No matter what, on April 27th he has his third professional MMA bout set against Eduardo Pezao. To top it off, he is apparently scheduled to fight Bob Sapp in August, which only makes things all the more comical. [Source]
