The GLORY 4 Tokyo: Grand Slam card on December 2 in Tokyo, Japan obviously features the Grand Slam tournament, with 16 heavyweights in one night. The card has gotten even better though, with the addition of some Japanese fighters to the "Pre Road To Glory" portion of the card, which is before the main, Grand Slam portion of the card kicks off.
Yuta Kubo, Yuichiro "Jienotsu" Nagashima, Toshio Matsumoto and Atsushi Ebata have all been added to the card. Kubo is the most notable one and a very good addition to the card, as he formerly dominated at 63kg and since the start of this year has been slowly moving up in weight. Kubo's fight on this card will be his first at 70kg, a weight he has talked about fighting at in the past, saying that he wants to take it one opponent at a time, with the ultimate goal of fighting Giorgio Petrosyan.
Kickboxing fans will also be familiar with Yuichiro "Jienotsu" Nagashima, the infamous cosplay fighter that won the K-1 MAX Japan Tournament back in 2010. Toshio Matsumoto will be fighting at 85kg on the card. He was slated to fight Sahak Parparyan at It's Showtime Japan before the show was cancelled. Last but not least is Mutsuki Ebata, who will fight at 53kg.
