K-1 K-1 took a gamble in the US yesterday, staging Open Tryouts for anyone daring enough to make their way to Muscle Beach on a hot Thursday afternoon and strut their stuff in front of some of the more influential people in the Kickboxing world. The turnout was a staggering 200 hopefuls, all looking for their chance at fame and glory within the K-1 ring. If anything it can be looked upon as a forging of the Kickboxing community in the United States and providing hope to those who felt there was no community to be involved with.

We sent photographer Jeff Dojillo to the workouts along with the Can't Stop Crazy crew and he went ahead and documented some pretty cool moments from it. Go head and check out the full gallery here.
