Today in Australia, John Wayne Parr fought his last fight, and he went out with a bang, knocking out his opponent with an uppercut in the fourth round.

Parr faced Jordan Tai, the long time K-1 MAX veteran who's tough as nails. The fight took place at the Boonchu Cup Caged Muay Thai Series, and yes, it was caged Muay Thai. The fight took place in an MMA cage, with MMA gloves, but under full Muay Thai rules.

JWP finished Tai in the fourth round with a vicious uppercut. There's no better way to end a legendary career than that, especially since Jordan Tai, to my knowledge, had never even been stopped before.

JWP goes out on his own terms, having done everything that can be accomplished over his long career. He has a successful gym and it seems like a successful promotion now so we wish him all the best in his retirement from fighting.
