On May 26 in Stockholm, Sweden, Dzhabar Askerov faced off with Robin van Roosmalen in what was one of the best fights of the year so far. Askerov shaded the first round but lost the next two, with his leg getting battered immensely by Robin's low kicks.

Askerov had a fight scheduled on June 2, which he pulled out of. Fight Nights, the promotion that he fought for today, didn't list him on their website so I figured he pulled out of that too but to my surprise, he fought today. Askerov didn't show any signs of wear and tear, which is amazing, as he put a beating on Danila Utenkov.

Askerov battered both of Utenkov's legs, just walking him down and showing no regard that Utenkov was even there. In the second round, the accumulation caught up to Utenkov and he was overwhelmed in the corner, forcing the referee to stop the bout.

Dzhabar has really done some crazy things this year, including winning three fights in less than a month earlier, and four in just over a month. He's definately the most durable fighter in kickboxing today.

On another note, Askerov's stablemate, Ramazan Ramazanov was on the card too, and avenged a loss from earlier this year to Mamoudou Keta. Keta knocked out Ramazan with a high kick in March, also for the Fight Nights promotion in a fight where Ramazanov was winning. This time, Ramazanov dominated, dropping Keta in the second.
