BEC Tero will be putting put on a Muay Thai show on June 9th at the Impact Arena in Bangkok and there will be no fewer than eight WBC belts on the line. Amongst the fighters confirmed are Saenchai Sor Kingstar, Kem Sitsong Peenong, Jomthong Chuwattana, Artem Levin, Ramazan Ramanov and Steve McKinnon.
Thai Fights and Thailand vs Challenger have both enjoyed some success in transplanting fighters from the Bangkok stadiums and putting then in for events which they hope will have more of a mainstream appeal. BEC Tero is an entertainment conglomerate best known for owning a football club and now appear to have decided to commit some of their valuable resources towards the sport of Muay Thai.
WBC representative Patrick Cusick broke the news in his weekly column in the Bangkok Post which you can read here.
