Yesterday we reported that Badr Hari vs. Ismael Londt was rumored for Grozny in Russia but there were no real details or promotional materials to verify this. Today after the news had spread throughout the internet it was confirmed that Badr Hari will indeed fight Ismael Londt on August 22nd in Grozny, Russia under the banner of Akhmat Fight Show. Needless to say this seems to be all signs pointing towards the fight happening considering Badr Hari has been linked with Ramzan Kadyrov in the past and is considered a personal friend of Kadyrov.
For those unaware of Akhmat Fight Show, there was a previous Akhmat show earlier this year that was associated with the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov. Our friend Patrick Wyman documented the issues with Kadyrov's association with combat sports and his questionable methods and associations. This should be interesting. Badr Hari fighting on a show linked with an accused Russian war criminal.
