The name Badr Hari comes with a lot of associations these days, a lot of them from his days under the K-1 banner and the rest involving criminal ties and assault charges. None of these associations seem to be about current day Badr Hari fights. We know that Badr Hari has links to GFC in Dubai and will continue fighting for them in the future, we also know that there is a now-mythical fight to happen between Badr Hari and Catalin Morosanu, originally scheduled for May and now maybe happening in October, but outside of that Badr Hari is the unicorn of the kickboxing world.
He's currently celebrating Ramadan, which is heading into its final week of fasting and reflection. Social media has been abuzz over the past few days when the Mike's Gym instagram posted a promo photo for Ismael Londt vs. Badr Hari on August 22nd in Grozny. Londt shared it on Facebook as well but when it comes to Badr Hari fights taking place in strange, Russian cities there should always be some serious questions as to the validity of said fight. Until Badr Hari himself has someone post on his official page that he's fighting Ismael Londt on August 22nd, hell, until they actually step into the ring together we just don't know what will happen.
Interestingly enough, the promo shot that they used was from the 2014 A1 Cup event scheduled to be held in the Netherlands that was canceled at the last moment.
