There’s another replacement for W5 Legends Collide, which goes down on September 16th. The card that sees a main event between European heavyweight legend Dzevad Poturak and Miran Fabjan, as well as a title defense from the 70kg sensation Vlad Tuinov has one update to the heavyweight opener on the main card. What was formerly Envar Slijvar against Tomislav Cikotic is now Envar Slijvar against Igor Mihaljević.
Slijvar, who has a current record of 29-4 will face Igor Mihaljevic, who is currently 21-29, for a second time. The two met in 2014 in FFC in a fight that saw Slijvar take the three-round decision victory. While Igor’s record might seem something to scoff at, it should be noted that he’s a rare breed that is willing to step up on late notice against literally anyone, with losses to at-the-time top ranked heavyweights and light heavyweights like Igor Jurkovic, Tomas Hron, Tyrone Spong, Daniel Ghita and Roman Kryklia. He holds wins over Mladen Kujundzik and the legendary Gary Goodridge.
This is a part of our continued coverage of W5 Legends Collide.
