Today in Italy Bellator Kickboxing 10 went down, where Gabriel Varga and Kevin Ross battled for the Bellator Kickboxing Featherweight Championship in a much-anticipated bout that saw Gabriel Varga once again become a world champion via stoppage in round one. Giorgio Petrosyan and Chingiz Allazov met in a much-anticipated bout where Petrosyan was able to, well, be Giorgio Petrosyan against Allazov, who looked a bit sluggish compared to past performances. Of course, Petrosyan is just that good and has a way [read more]
ONE Championship headed to Kuala Lumpur for Pursuit of Power today for yet another event packed full of martial arts action, featuring former Lion Fight champion Jo Nattawut. Like always, the event featured a number of ONE SuperSeries bouts, including the feature bout between Jo Nattawut and Yohann Fairtex Drai. The fights happened inside of the cage with the smaller MMA gloves, which meant the action moved quickly and saw some thrilling moments. Nattawut with small gloves is a very scary thing, as Drai found out early on in round one. Nattawut, while he might be known for elbows more [read more]

This weekend at Bellator Kickboxing 10 we’re set to see one of the best fights of the year in Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Chingiz Allazov. Allazov has been rising up the ranks at lightweight, losing to Sitthichai in 2014 and going on — get this — a 28-fight win streak. Heading into this bout with Petrosyan there’s no doubt that this is the best competition that Petrosyan has faced since either 2015 or 2016 (depending on your view of Josh Jauncey or Jordan Watson), and one of those rare dream matches in kickboxing that is looking like it might actually happen. While many of the combat sports promotions in the world are focused on doubling down on promoting a lone sport, ONE Championship is showing its dedication to the broad spectrum of sports this October. On October 6th in Thailand, ONE Championship: Kingdom of Heroes will feature the ONE debut of WBC and Ring Super Flyweight Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai’s debut won’t be in MMA, kickboxing or muay thai — all sports ONE already promotes — but in his home sport of professional boxing. If that sounds like a departure, then you haven’t been paying attention to ONE’s flexibility and [read more]

Catalin Morosanu presented Dynamite Fighting Show 1 on July 6th, live from Romania. It was very much a throwback show to fill the void left by SuperKombat transitioning to more of a Hollywood management firm than a straight-forward fighting promotion. The show very much captured the flavor of SuperKombat, with Morosanu meeting Freddy Kemayo in their third meeting, seeing Morosanu pick up the decision victory. Benjamin Adegbuyi participated in a boxing bout — his third professionally — where he was able to pick up a quick (and boy do I mean quick) victory by knockout. Other big names from the [read more]
ONE Championship headed back to the ring for ONE Championship: Battle For the Heavens to decide the ONE Championship Atomweight Kickboxing Championship between Kai Ting Chuang from China and Yodcherry Sityodtong from Thailand in the main event. Her hands are fast, accurate and she isn’t afraid to unload. The story of the fight was Yodcherry looking to methodically piece Kai Ting apart, only for Chuang to close the distance, lower Yodcherry’s [read more]
